England - British Sports Book Awards 2011 Odds

The British Sports Book Awards is a highlight of the sports publishing year and an opportunity for writers, editors, sports stars and corporate supporters to mingle and rub shoulders in an atmosphere of fraternal bonhomie.

The Awards were launched by the National Sporting Club at its Cafe Royal headquarters, a venue renowned for its literary as well as its sporting connotations, and the Club undoubtedly has contributed to the Awards' reputation for scrupulous independence and fair play.

Today almost fifty companies large and small submit titles for consideration. A panel of distinguished and hard working judges assists in the creation of short lists and then embarks on the serious and considered business of picking winners.

The 2011 Awards

This year's Awards Dinner takes place slightly later than usual on Monday 9th May at the lavishly restored Savoy Hotel.
