UEFA Nations League will be played by senior men's national teams of the member associations of UEFA. There are 4 groups in League C. Where the group champions of each group in League C will be promoted to League B and the last ranked team in each group will be relegated to League D for the next UEFA Nations League in 2020-21.

Group 1 of League C has three teams. It is the only group in League C that has three teams. So there is a possibility only in this group, that the last (3rd) ranked team may not get relegated.

SCOTLAND :

Scotland is the joint oldest national football team in the world, alongside England. Scotland have qualified for the FIFA World Cup on eight occasions and the UEFA European Championship twice, but have never progressed beyond the group stage of a major tournament. Former Liverpool player and manager Kenny Dalglish is still the most capped player and all-time top scorer (alongside Denis Law) of the country. Scotland failed to qualify for the upcoming World Cup in Russia. So they hired back their former manager Alex McLeish, who had a record of 70% win rate in his last spell. Scotland is currently ranked 32nd in the FIFA world rankings.

ALBANIA :

Albania have been playing in other international competitions since 1946 but they have never managed to qualify for any UEFA or FIFA competitions until they qualified for the UEFA Euro 2016. So UEFA Nations League will be their second major tournament participation. Albania couldn’t qualify for the FIFA World Cup 2018. Qarabağ left back Ansi Agolli will be leading the team. Former Italian player, Christian Panucci took over as the head coach in July 2017. Albania's highest ever FIFA ranking was 22nd. But they currently stand at 58th in the FIFA world rankings.

ISRAEL :

Israel is the only country that have competed in FIFA World Cup qualifiers in three different confederations before settling in Europe as a member of UEFA in 1994. Israel has qualified for only one World Cup till now which was in 1970. But they have hosted and won the AFC Asia Cup in 1964. They failed to qualify again for the upcoming World Cup in Russia. So they will be very eager to show their worth in the UEFA Nations League. Their head coach position is currently vacant. Maccabi Tel Aviv defender Tal Ben Haim is the captain of the side. Israel are very down in the rankings, being 94th in the FIFA world rankings.
