A general election will be held in Sweden on 14 September 2014 to the national Swedish Riksdag. This will be the first election following the historic re-election of a centre-right government in 2010. It will also be the first nationwide electoral test for the populist and nationalist Sweden Democratsafter winning their first seats in parliament.
