Tour of Utah 2021 - Cancelled

The 2021 Tour of Utah is a professional cycling stage race that is announced to be held over seven ultimate days between July 26 and August 1, 2021, through the states of Idaho, Utah, and Wyoming. The race has been recently christened as the UCI Pro Series race since 2020, just a level inferior to World Tour races like the Tour de France. It is North America's only stage race with that title and is one of only two multi-day races with that caliber in the whole of America. The race will be the 16th event of the 2021 Tour of Utah and the first event of the 1.Pro.

It started as an amateur event, the Thanksgiving Point Stage Race started in 2000 and obtained its current designation in 2004. The race was initially founded by cycling enthusiasts and purchased by Larry H. Miller Group of Companies in 2007.

The tour is entitled America's Toughest Stage Race due to its altitude, distance, and weather conditions. The United States has no competition that is part of the UCI World Tour with the Tour of California proceeding on hiatus in 2020. This makes the Tour of Utah the United States' top-level multi-day road cycling event. In addition, it is associated with the one-day Maryland Cycling Classic as the United States' highest overall cycling race.

The route typically consists of six extreme stages, includes almost 750-850 km of the total race distance, and wraps up with several hilly tracks. The engaging spectacle of the race begins with a prologue time trial that usually includes a distance of 5.3 km. It ends with the traditional final stage that starts and finishes in Park City.

Competing Teams

Generally, the race is competed with many teams and riders including some experienced participants. As this involves an importance in the country, there are some participants from the country to win the race. The expected teams are including:
