GP Industria 2020 odds

Who wins GP Industria & Artigianato 2020?

The coronavirus outbreak in Italy has led to the race been called off, but we had already found odds at Tour of Flanders 2020.

GP Industria & Artigianato 2020

The 2020 edition of the GP Industria & Artigianato, a one-day professional cycling race held annually in Larciano, Italy, will be held on the 8th March. The race is a 1.1 class event on the UCI Europe Tour and is in its 43rd year.

The current title holder is German cyclist Maximilian Schachmann (Team BORA - hansgrohe). He beat the two Italian riders Mattia Cattaneo (Team Deceuninck - Quick Step) who came second and Andrea Vendrame (Team AG2R La Mondiale) who came third.

The 2020 GP Industria & Artigianato

There have been some great winners of the GP Industria & Artigianato. Matej Mohoric (Team Bahrain - McLaren) won in 2018, while Adam Yates (Team Mitchelton-Scott) won the race in 2017 and 2014. The 2020 peloton will also feature some big names, beckoning a great race. The route starts and ends in Larciano, with four climbs making the second half of the race a tough finish.

Italian hopes will likely be with previous winner Vincenzo Nibali (Team Trek - Segafredo), Giovanni Visconti (Team Vini Zabù - KTM), who came sixth last year, and Giulio Ciccone (Team Trek - Segafredo). However, the hot favourite is Wout van Aert (Team Jumbo-Visma).

Taco van der Hoorn and Koen Bouwman (both from Team Jumbo-Visma) also form a strong Jumbo-Visma team and will join van Aert in the title challenge. There hasn’t been an Italian winner for the last few years so they will be keen to regain the title.
