2018 Women’s Junior World Handball Championship – What You Need To Know

The International Handball Federation organizes the event which is Women’s Junior World Handball Championship in which under 20 years old girls compete with each other in the most competitive way possible. Handball is a game which is equally popular among both men and women. The IHF is doing a great job by providing all the opportunities to the young women talent as well in the form of Women’s Junior World Championship.

The event takes place every two years in even years and a huge amount of audience get attracted to this incredible tournament. The 2018 IHF Women’s Junior World Handball Championship will start from 1st July and the final will be held on 14th of July 2018.

The IHF Women’s (U-20) Junior World Handball Championship will be hosted by the Hungary in Debrecen. For those who don’t know Denmark is the defending champion and Soviet Union is the most successful side in this tournament by winning 7 titles (most by any side).

There are two venues for the 2018 Women’s Junior World Handball Championship which are Fonix Hall and Hodos Imre Sports Hall. The Draw for the event will be held in Switzerland, Basel on 26th April.

There are four groups with six sides in each group. The event’s first match according to the sources will be played on 1st July and the top four sides from each group will qualify for the quarter finals stage.
