The 2020 Giro dell'Emilia is the 103rd edition of the Giro dell'Emilia one-day cycling road race. It is going to be held this year on 18 August 2020 in Emilia, Italy as part of the 2020 UCI Europe Tour as a 1.Pro event.

The route is planned with one stage starting from Casalecchio di Reno and finishing at Bologna covering a total distance of about 199.7 km (124.1 mi). The race will be organized by GS Emilia and expected to be a challenging one in the UCI Europe Tour.

The Giro dell'Emilia is normally a late-season event run annually in Italy. The event has been held on the UCI Europe Tour since 2005, and the first edition was in 1909. The run begins from Bologna that normally takes a tour of Appennino Tosco-Emiliano National Park and finishes in Bologna with 5 reps on the sharp climbing ring of the Sanctuary of the Madonna di San Luca. It's considered one of the calendar's most prestigious and historical classic cycling races, the palmarès features great champions like Coppi, Merckx, Bartali.

The recent winner of this Giro dell'Emilia is Primož Roglič, one of the well-known Slovenian cyclists and presently riding for the UCI WorldTeam Team Jumbo–Visma.
