Wimbledon 2021 Mens: Probably the most stylish of the Grand Slams, Wimbledon will next be taking place in the summer of 2021 - some month after French Open 2021. This competition has seen it all, from the most unlikely victories like Goran Ivanišević winning the competition from a wildcard pick, to dominant victories, like Federer defending his title four times in a row. A side of strawberries and cream will go with a main of sensational tennis on the grandest stage of them all at Wimbledon.
Novak Djokovic is certainly favourite at the time of writing and for the foreseeable future. Having won in 2014, 2015, 2018 and 2019, he will be confident in his abilities to defend his title once more. Statistically the best returner in the business, Djokovic’s effective style of play is good enough to play any man off the court, and his consistency is one of the reasons that his supporters point to him as the best of all time.
Another man who has a very strong claim to that title and very good hopes of lifting the trophy himself is Roger Federer. With 20 Grand Slams under his belt, including seven Wimbledons, Roger Federer can always be counted on to provide a show. His game oozes style and his one-handed backhand is admired worldwide. He is well suited to grass and will be hoping to lift Wimbledon one last time.
Rafael Nadal will definitely also be in the mix for victory at the British stage, hoping to win his third Wimbledon. A number of players will be desperate for their first Grand Slam, especially the NextGen stars such as Alexander Zverev, Dominic Thiem and Stefanos Tstitsipas. It could easily be time for another upset victory, and players like Auger Alliassime and Gael Monfils will be giving their all to make that happen.
