Football club Brentford is from London and currently is competeting in English Championship and currently is on 13th position.

From 30 November 2015 to 10 October 2018 manager of the club was Dean Smith. In Brentford he brought attracting passing style of play which was approved by the fans. Althought he signed new deal in February he couldn’t reject the offer from Aston Villa and to replace Steve Bruce. Brentford find themself in a little trouble after his leaving. They had to act quickly because its in the middle of the season and its the worst time for manager to leave the club. The board and the directors of the club weren’t happy with the decision but they acted professionaly. Director of football, Rasmus Ankersen, said: Brentford is not a single-man band, it's a football club with a structure and a strategy. It's not the first time big clubs have come in for our players and coaches. We feel strong despite our coach leaving and we feel like we are in a good position as a club, we are more than one person and are optimistic about the future”.

So on 16 October 2018 Thomas Frank was announced as new manager of Brentford football club. Rasmus Ankersen the director of football said: “Thomas knows the Club's strategy inside out and he is both respected and supported by players and staff at the Training Ground. "He played a major role in the development of our style of play over the past couple of years and we believe he is ready for the job as Head Coach.”

Thomas Frank is a Danish football manager and coach. For 18 years he was coach and manager in young teams teams through Denmark and also on the Denmark U16, U17, U19 national football teams. His first big challenge was at Brøndby IF in Denmark where he was manager from 2013 to 2016. With Brøndby IF he finished on 3rd and 4th position and played Europa League qualifications but never qualify for the group stage. He quit his job in Brøndby IF after he received public criticism from their chairman.

Since 9 December 2016 he is in Brentford as assistent manager. He was one of the main people in the club for developing the young players and making a path for the players from reserve team to first team of Brentford.

As manager of Brentford so far he has lead the team in 4 games and he has score of 2 wins and 2 defeats. Certanly we can’t judge him now because although he was assistant manager for 2 years at the club, as manager he will want to bring some changes to the team and it will take a little time.
