ELEAGUE CS:GO Premier 2017 Preview

The Qualifiers

On the day before yesterday, the last stage of qualifications for the ELEAGUE CS: GO Premier 2017 tournament came to an end. Five slots were up for grabs, which included two places from Europe and three in the North American region. From Europe, the qualifying spots went to the French, Team EnVyUs and the Danish Team Heroic.

Heroic got their ticket to Atlanta after beating AGO Gaming in the LAN-final, with a score of 2-0 (16-8 The Inferno; 16-1 The train). While in France Team EnVyUs was stronger than the Alpha Republic of Esport with a score of 2-0 (16-8 The Cobblestone; 19-16 The Inferno).

No luck for CIS Region

In the European qualification, teams from the CIS also participated: FlipSid3 Tactics, Gambit and Vega Squadron. But, unfortunately, Gambit and FlipSid3 dropped out of the qualification in the initial stages of the competition. While Vega Squadron, even though they beat Space Soldiers, eventually lost to the Polish side of AGO Gaming.
