Who will win the 2021 Nations League finals?

The 2021 Nations League finals will be contested by Belgium, France, Italy and Spain and will be held in Milan and Turin, Italy. These teams qualified for the finals tournament as they won their respective groups in League A of the 2020/21 Nations League.

2018 World Cup winners France will go into the Nations League finals as favourites. They have one of the best squads in World football which includes the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Antoine Griezmann, Paul Pogba and N'Golo Kanté. They went unbeaten in their group which had previous Nations League winners Portugal and World Cup semifinalists Croatia in it.

Belgium will be another one of the favourites for 2021 year’s Nations League title. They gained their entry into the finals by winning their group which included England, Denmark and Iceland. Their squad is equally as talented as France’s with Eden Hazard, Kevin De Bruyne, Romelu Lukaku and Thibaut Courtois all some of the best players in the world in their respective positions.

Spain had an exciting Nations League campaign which closed with a 6-0 win over European giants Germany. The oddsmakers have them as third favourites, however, could be the surprise package if their star youngsters can hit the ground running. Ansu Fati, Ferran Torres and Dani Olmo are all incredibly talented youngsters who could be the key to Spain’s chances in the Nations League finals.

Although Italy are the underdogs according to the oddsmakers, they will have home advantage which will be key to their chances. UEFA tournament organisers are hopeful that fans will be allowed in the stadium which could increase Italy’s chances for the tournament. They have a strong group of players with Sandro Tonali, Nicolò Zaniolo, Ciro Immobile and Lorenzo Insigne top players in their respective positions.
