Tour of Germany 2022 will be held 24-28 august 2022. There is no odds at Deutschland Tour 2022 yet, but we have found odds at Tour de France 2023.

Deutschland Tour 2021

The Deutschland Tour 2021 is a cycling stage race scheduled to take place from 26 to 29 August 2021. The tour will be the 35th edition of the Deutschland Tour and be classified as a 2.Pro race as part of the UCI Europe Tour. The race has got a place on the new UCI ProSeries in 2020.

The most important multi-stage cycling race in Germany is also known as the Tour of Germany and sometimes the Deutschland-Rundfahrt in German words. On 8 March 2016, a revival was announced for 2017. The A.S.O. resurrected the Deutschland Tour in 2018 and incorporated a four-stage race into a cycling festival.

The Route

There are usually four stages in the race and the total race distance is around 730 km. The first stage will start in Stralsund, the Hanseatic region, and end in Schwerin, the state capital of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, on flat terrain. The second stage crosses a hilly track between Sangerhausen and Ilmenau, where the Kulpenberg will be overcome, the Buchenwald Concentration Camp Memorial will pass, and the Thuringian city of Weimar will be pushed through. The next step, over the undulating area, passes through the Thuringian Forest and FranconiaAttain. The fourth stage route runs from Erlangen across Franconian Switzerland and ends in Nuremberg, cyclists have to climb an elevation of about 2,000 meters; there are almost 15 climbs of the demanding final stage, with ramps of up to 20 percent.

Recent Champions

Belgian cyclist Jasper Stuyven is the current champion of the recently played Deutschland Tour riding for UCI WorldTeam Trek–Segafredo in 2019. He got the first position beating Sonny Colbrelli and Yves Lampaert.

Matej Mohorič is the winner of the 2018 event of the Deutschland Tour. He is a Slovenian professional cyclist, who is currently riding for UCI WorldTeam Bahrain–McLaren.
