Pro League Finals (Rainbow Six)

The Pro League serves as the professional eSports League for Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, organized and hosted by ESL. The league is a most prestigious level of competition, where the eight best teams around four different regions such as Asia-Pacific, Europe, Latin America, and North America compete against each other in the event to qualify for the Pro League Finals. In the final, two top teams from each region battle for the title of Champions. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six mainly deals with FPS and Tactical Shooter aspects developed by Ubisoft Montreal. Serving as the successor to the cancelled Tom Clancy’s Rainbow 6: Patriots, Siege heavily emphasis on co-operation between players and environmental destruction.

Players in the competition take control of an operator from the Rainbow Team, known as a counter-terrorist unit. Each operator has a different race, bomb, perks, gear, and gadgets. The game comes with an asymmetrical structure whereby the teams aren’t always balanced in their ability options.

In the competition, teams will be battling for the massive prize pool of $275,000 and the title of Pro League Champion. Additionally, each team that qualified for Pro League Finals has also successfully secured a berth at the Six Invitational 2019.

The Pro League Season 8 Finals is the 2nd tournament of year 3 set in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Eight teams, two from each region will fight over the share of the $167,000 prize pool in the Single Elimination bracket. The eight confirmed teams are G2 eSports, Mock-it Esports, Evil Genius, Rogue, FaZe Clan, Immortals, PET Nora-Rengo, and Fnatic. The lineup for competitors for Pro League Finals is set. Eight teams across the world will gather in Brazil for an epic event.

The Pro League Finals weekend will be packed with Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six action, with eight professional teams of best gamers battling for the championship title and the first place prize. Quarterfinals of the competition will be organized all day on Saturday, with the semifinals and the grand finale taking place on Sunday. Furthermore, the weekend will also offer a Rainbow6 panel, where members from the team of Rainbow6 will update their fans about the Six Invitational 2019, share the details of the Pro League’s Season 9 and uncover Year 3 and Year 4. The tournament will be streamed in over 11 different Languages, including English, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Russian, and Japanese.

The team that places 5th to the 8th position will earn $8,000 respectively.
