QPR last played the PL in the 2014/15 season, in which they finished with only 30 points won, cemented to the bottom of the table. Since then, Queens Park has been a constant participant in the Championship, and what should definitely worry the club's board and fans is the fact that from that year until today, they have finished above the tenth place only once.

QPR started the last season in the Championship very well, they stayed at the top half of the table for a long time and there was a significant hope that they would win a place in the playoffs, but the whole story quickly turned out to be a fantasy and unattainable mission. The team had a series of bad results, and dropped to the middle of the table, approximately where they finished at the end of the campaign, in 11th place. The club was visibly dissatisfied, it was decided to start the so-called process. "New beginning", and it seems that the first step is cooperation with Michael Beale.

Until now, Michael had exclusively the role of assistant manager, he worked as an assistant in Sao Paulo, Glasgow Rangers and Aston Villa. He will move from Vila Park to Loftus, where he will get his first independent job. The first goal is to stabilize the team and the general situation in the club, no doubt that certain reinforcements will have to arrive, so that QPR can be competitive with the teams from the top next season as well. He was born in Bromley, where he founded a futsal club, where children from that town trained. In time, he attracted the attention of the director of the Chelsea Youth School, who offered him his first job. Beale worked with the youngest in the "Blues" academy, and at that time there were some players like Tammy Abraham and Dominic Solanke. When Roman Abramovic took over the club, Beale moved to Liverpool where he also worked with youngsters.

His first serious appointment was in Sao Paolo as assistant manager to Rogerio Ceni. They both worked there for 6 months. Michael first real results and impact were firstly noticed in Glasgow Rangers where he worked as assistant manager to Steven Gerard.

Many football experts from Europe recognized the “mastermind” behind the success of Glasgow Rangers in just 3 seasons from 3rd league to comeback to Scotland Premier League and win it. Even Gerard in one occasion said: “It would take me 15-20 years to become as good as Michael Beale as an on-pitch coach, delivering sessions daily, so I let Mick be Mick because he’s the expert.” They also continued their work together in Aston Villa until Beale received the call from QPR.

Perhaps it is good thing that he will have the whole summer to compose and work with the team and whole new season ahead to show his managerial skills and to bring joy and pride back to Loftus Road.
