Bradford City are on the lookout for a new manager after they decided to sack Stuart McCall from his position on Monday 5th February 2018.

The former Valley Parade player had led the side to a Play-off final last season but were beaten by Millwall, and his side are sitting in the play-offs once again this campaign so far.

However, a run of six defeats, including five in League One, has forced the Bantams in to making a change at the helm and giving the former Scotland international defender his marching orders.

The final straw for the club was their 2-1 defeat to relegation-threatened Oldham Athletic on Saturday and now will be looking at getting their next manager in as quickly as possible.

Bookmakers have been already installed a number of candidates they feel would be in the running, with one standout for SkyBet.

36-year-old Hannes Wolf has been named a comfortable favourite for the role at Valley Parade after he has had an excellent start to his managerial career.

The former Stuttgart boss, who was recently dismissed himself last week, had a largely successful time during his 16-month reign and has become an attractive proposition for a number of clubs.

In his first season, he guided the club back to the Bundesliga by winning the league and finished as champions.

However, he was sacked this January after his side went on their own winless-run with just one victory in nine matches.

The German is followed by Greg Abbott, in second and the hugely-experienced Simon Grayson in third.

The top five is rounded off by another couple of German candidates, with Uwe Rosler and Andreas Hinkel, who are in charge of Fleetwood Town and Stuttgart II respectively.
